Every other Tuesday, as a pastor on staff, I am on call. I respond to any calls for prayer, immediate needs, counseling, etc. Typically, I can expect my day on call to end at 5:00 p.m. This is now Wednesday, and my on call day just ended! Come on nah! Yes, it has certainly been a distraction from my normal work flow, but I must why honest; helping people always helps me. I have been constantly reminded, over the past two days, why I am so grateful for the Lord's hand in my life and in my family. Living an attitude of gratitude means serving outside the gates of my own comfort zone. I am so grateful!
