It's funny, Christmas is a special time of the year for our family, but not in a conventional way. When recently reflecting on Christmases past, the memories didn't flood in, like the birthday memories. I realized that Christmas is a working Holiday for our family. Most years we are serving others at church, in the form of a production, etc. It doesn't meant the memories aren't special, but Christmas is not a stand alone family event for the McCool's, and that's just fine! It's what we do, and why we're here.

Last night we were able to host and Open House for our new Connecticut family, our Worship Arts Ministry! It was a blast! There were so many people in our new home, we actually had to let some of the chilly New England air in to bring the heat down! I guess you can say it was a hot party! And the food...come on nah! Shoooo...you talk about delicious!

It's the season!
