On this day about 2000 years ago, on a funky hill called the place of skulls, or Golgotha, Jesus died a horrible death on a cross. We remember with sadness because the pain of our sins paid for by a perfect sinless king is much to bear in our head and hearts. But that was the point. It was love that performed the greatest act of sacrifice ever! EVER! It is finished!
