This was too funny not to share! I know that when you saw the BLOG heading you thought I was being all transparent about problems for me at the ministry, not so! Things are good! Today at least! Over the weekend my wife. Leigh-Ann, happened to pitch in to help with Communion and the offering during the service. She encountered a guy who was holding things up. The military-like approach to passing the baskets down the correct aisle was bogging down at this guy! To make matters worse, the fellow was a bit hard of hearing, and compensated with a louder voice. There was Leigh-Ann, trying her best to be discrete while Pastor Gene was addressing the entire congregation. Asking the man, very discretely, what seems to be the problem, he responded in a firm, full tone, "I need some change!" I can hardly type from laughing even now! Shocked, but not thrown, Leigh-Ann ran down the aisle to the foyer to get the man some change! You never know what to expect in church!
