This past weekend, Leigh-Ann and I were invited to lead worship at Forest Home for their Adult Bible Conference. Teaching was lead by Erik Thoennes, a professor at Biola, and Teaching Elder at Grace EV Free Church in La Mirada, CA. He was amazing! He focused, in part, on a subject very dear to my heart, the glory of God. It is why I exist to lead worship. I have always been compelled to pursue the manifestation of God's glory, or kabod in Hebrew. Once we taste and see it, we are never satisfied in worship without it! On a personal level, it was like swimming in the river of life all weekend! In addition to leading worship at services where the sound teaching on the glory of God was partnered with the opportunity to experience the same, I was asked to lead a time of worship and prayer before breakfast. I was in heaven! I sang songs I haven't been able to sing in years. Tears flowed, hearts spoke, scripture was read, God was glorified. It's all for your glory Lord!
