The desert is a funny place, aside from wondering if you will ever come out, you get eerily used to the harshness of the environment. Then, suddenly, out of the expected, you glimpse the edge of the desert, edge of a range of mountains, and what appears to be a fruitful valley in between. It's a nice place to be. There is a sense of accomplishment. There is a sense of survival. In truth, it is a sense of God's incredible faithfulness, manifest yet again. Thank you Lord.
