Boy that seems inappropriate! I know your brain defaulted to Beauty and Ashes! Of course I'm not talking about butt's, derriere's, or bum's (as my wife's South African culture would say), but rather treasure, and those mule creatures. The other day, we were at a friends house preparing to enjoy a lovely meal, when low and behold, a favorite snack appeared in a bowl. The teenager standing next to me was surprised when i announced "Oh look, Pirate's Booty!" I asked if she knew what that meant. She didn't know, and learned something new that day. I was surprised to think that there are thousands of folks walking around believing they are consuming a snack that shouldn't be as tasty as it is! As I am reading through James, It is clear that our focus on humility and right relationship begins with us and our attitude. it is a lifestyle of Biblical worldview (thanks Pastor Mike) and worship. Let's keep our heads out of the gutter!
