When I was a young man working at Denny's, I discovered I had anger issues. As I have aged over the years, I have learned how to control my anger by thinking before I speak, and trying to see things from different perspectives before I react. I have also discovered that how I feel is primarily a matter of choice! That being said, my stuffed animal with a heart beat, my turd-ball of a dog, Mocha, the second of two dogs we own, ate my IEM's. For those of you who do not know what those are, they are VERY high end ear phones, with molds made custom to fit my ears. You could say I was angry! This past weekend at church, I was also angry when pre-service rehearsal/preparation on Saturday night was the worst I had experienced in ALL of my years in ministry. ALL of my years!!! Was I angry...oh yeah! I didn't say a whole lot that evening. In fact my close friend and bud who works with me noted how well he felt I handled things! I sure didn't feel that way in the moment. At the end of the day, there is much to say about the old adage "this too shall pass." Praise the Lord for that!
